Veloforum is an annual interdisciplinary conference on the edge of transportation policy, sustainable development and civil society. The main target groups of the event are cycling advocates, local authorities, urban planning and transport engineers, students.

In 2017, the 9th Veloforum took place in Mykolayiv, where it gathered 126 participants and speakers from 23 cities of Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Belgium and Poland. Previously the conference was hosted by Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Poltava, Yevpatoria, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lutsk.

Veloforum in 2014-2016 was organized with financial support of the European Union, Hienrich Boell Foundation in Ukraine, British Embassy in Ukraine, and European Cyclists’ Federation within the Urban Cycling Development for Public Benefit project. The project aims at improving quality and efficiency of cycling policy and local and national levels. The project is implemented by the Kyiv Cyclists’ Association in partnership with Center for Social and Business Initiatives (Yaremche) and European Cyclists’ Federation (Brussels).
